Join me for a Live Bio-Architecture & Regenerative Land Design Intensive workshop
Where Biomimicry, Architecture and Land Visions Come to Life
November 2026

Refine and cultivate a curvilinear design mindset
Explore biomimicry and eco-conscious design principles.
Create bespoke designs for your home or a master plan for your land
Draw inspiration from Gaudí’s bio-architecture,
Enjoy San Miguel with its vast array of vaults and courtyards

7-Day Bio-Architecture Immersion
Day 1 — Arrival & San Miguel Exploration
Arrive, settle in, and get to know one another.
Enjoy the courtyards and remarkable arched architecture of San Miguel de Allende, soaking in the beauty and inspiration of this historic town. This day allows us to connect, tune into the place, and begin the journey together.
In the late afternoon, we will relocate to the farm and share dinner together at sunset.
Day 2 — Sacred Geometry & Nature Patterns
Explore the geometry of flowers and natural forms. Create a 2D mandala using pencils and colored pens, training mind and hand to work in harmony.
Day 3 — Form-Finding & Living Structures
Experiment with catenary curves and gravity-based design using stretched cloth, then build physical models.
Dive into form exploration in VR to push creative boundaries and discover living structural forms.
Day 4 — Design Your Own BioShelter
Design a glamping structure or tiny home, focusing on practical buildability.
We will also mark a full-scale 1:1 foundation and floor plan of my newest Living BioShelter directly on the land.
Day 5 — Master Planning for Your Land
Craft a master plan for your land using core permaculture and landscaping principles.
Alternatively, continue refining your dream home — shaping a design you can realistically build within one season.
Day 6 — Visualization & AI Integration
Use 3D modeling software or hand sketching to bring your ideas to life.
Then integrate your designs with AI tools to create a polished, compelling pitch deck.
Students explore how artificial intelligence can amplify creativity rather than replace it, learning to use AI as a partner in the design process — enhancing intuition, efficiency, and impact while staying rooted in human purpose and ethical creation. (You do not need to know how to draw and no prior design or building skills are required)
Day 7 — Inspiration on Site
Visit the enchanting Gaudí-inspired Fairyland and meet its creator Steve Kohler in his iconic flying concrete home.
Draw inspiration from visionary architecture brought to life through dedication and craft.
Why am I teaching this?
I’ve been a designer for over 30 years.
Now it’s time to pass this knowledge on — to those who feel the call to design and build a different future: not just buildings, but ways of living… systems and communities that are resilient, conscious, and alive.
